We are ecstatic! The Lord is sooo awesome! (For those of you who don’t already know, he had been unemployed for about 7 months but God has been taking good care of us!) He had been interviewing, etc. with them for about 3 months. For now it is just a 3 month temporary contract and then they will decide if they want to hire him permanent or not. Friday was his first day and he really enjoyed it, but as he said when he got home, he was definitely on information overload. I took the kiddos to my sister’s house while I was at work, but by the time we got done chatting when I went to pick them up, it was too late to get much school accomplished, so we took the day off. 

Then on Saturday we went to a tweetup in Denver for the 12for12k fundraiser (check out http://12for12k.org/ if you want to find out what it is about). We had a really awesome time getting to acutally meet some of the people that we have been tweeting online with on Twitter (http://twitter.com/) and raising money for a great cause in the process. I actually won one of the raffles too, a $25 gift certificate to Ebay! That was pretty cool.

Sunday we went to church in the morning and then to our Bible study that evening. We are doing the One Month to Live Challenge, which has been really awesome so far! We are learning to live our lives for God as if we only had a month to live, to determine what the important things in life are. So all in all, it has been very busy around here for the last few days.   So my question to you: What would be important to you if you only had one month to live?
